You Were Not Created to Grow Alone

There are seasons when solitude can be good for us.

We can pray alone, think alone, read alone, and take time to reflect. Those quiet moments can help us hear more clearly, reconnect with God, and understand what is happening within us.

But there are also seasons when being alone stops helping us grow and starts keeping us stuck.

Sometimes what we need is not more time inside our own thoughts. We need someone to encourage us, challenge us, listen to us, or simply remind us of what we may have forgotten.

You were not created to grow alone.

Growth Needs Relationship

God created us for relationship—with Him, with one another, and with the people we are ultimately called to serve.

That is why some of our most meaningful growth happens through other people. A conversation can reveal something we could not see on our own. Encouragement can restore hope when we are discouraged. Accountability can help us keep moving when it would be easier to stop.

And sometimes we need people who can remind us who we are when fear, pressure, disappointment, or the demands of life cause us to forget.

Growth is personal, but it was never meant to be completely isolated.

The Right Environment Matters

We often assume that the answer to feeling stuck is more information: another book, another podcast, another course, another strategy.

Sometimes those things help.

But sometimes the breakthrough does not come from learning something new. It comes from being in the right environment.

An environment where your faith can be strengthened, your questions can be welcomed, your ideas can be refined, and your purpose can become clearer.

The right environment does not do the work for you. It gives you the support, perspective, and encouragement to keep doing the work yourself.

That distinction matters.

Why I Created Purpose Garden™

This is one of the reasons I created Purpose Garden™.

I did not want to create another noisy online group where people feel pressure to perform, impress one another, or pretend that everything in their lives is perfect.

I wanted to create a faith-centered space for people who genuinely want to grow—to reconnect with God, remember who they are, clarify their purpose, and keep taking faithful steps toward the person they were created to become.

Because real growth is rarely a single breakthrough.

It is a rhythm. It is a practice. It is a way of living.

And when you spend time around people who are also choosing faith, presence, purpose, and growth, something begins to change.

You realize you are not the only one asking difficult questions. You discover that you do not have to carry everything by yourself. You begin to see your own journey with more patience and grace.

And sometimes, simply knowing that you are not walking alone gives you enough strength to start moving again.

Your Next Faithful Step
